Privacy Policy — “Nasseq AI — Writing Assistant” Effective Date: [3/30/2026] Developer/Company: [RANA ALMADHOUN] Contact Email: [ranaalmadhoun002@gmail.com]

1) Overview “Nasseq AI” is a Chrome extension that helps you format text in Microsoft Word Online and Google Docs using AI. The extension sends the text you provide to the Groq API for formatting, then copies the formatted result back to your clipboard for pasting.

2) Information we collect A) Groq API key (Authentication/credential) If you choose to connect your Groq account, the extension stores your Groq API key in your browser using chrome.storage.local. The key is provided by you and is used only to authorize requests from your extension to Groq. B) Text content you want to format (Website content) The extension uses the text you select in the document (and/or the text you copied to your clipboard). It also sends your optional custom prompt to Groq along with the text. This content is sent to Groq so the AI can return the formatted result. C) Clipboard content The extension may read from the clipboard in cases where it cannot reliably detect the selected text inside the editor. The extension writes the AI-formatted output to the clipboard so you can paste it in Word/Docs. 3) How we use your information To call the Groq API and request formatted HTML/text. To copy the AI-formatted result to your clipboard for you to paste into the document. To validate and store your Groq API key locally (only on your device). 4) Data sharing Groq API: We send the text you provide (and any custom prompt) to Groq for AI processing. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with other third parties for advertising or analytics. 5) Storage and retention Your Groq API key is stored locally in your browser until you remove it (using the extension’s Disconnect API Key button) or you clear your browser storage. The extension does not maintain a server-side database in this design. 6) Security Requests to Groq are made over HTTPS. Your API key is stored locally using chrome.storage.local. Clipboard content is used for transfer of input/output and is not stored by the extension beyond the immediate formatting flow. 7) Your choices To remove your stored Groq API key, use Disconnect API Key in the extension. You can also clear your Chrome site data/storage to remove locally stored values. 8) Children’s privacy This extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9) Changes We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
